He was born in the city of Rovenky, Luhansk Oblast.

His journey into the world of art began at an art studio in his hometown of Rovenky and continued with his studies at the Luhansk Art College and the Kyiv State Art Institute.

He considers Yevhen Kyrychenko, Tamara Kapkanets, and such renowned artists as Andriy Chebykin, Leonid Chichkan, Heorhiy Chernyavsky, and Volodymyr Boldyrev to be his mentors.

He has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1987.

Winner of a competition dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the UN, 1996.

Recipient of an honorable mention at the 2007 Painting Triennial.

His works have been exhibited abroad in Germany, Poland, Finland, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Georgia, and other countries around the world.

He works in the mediums of painting and graphic art.
