Kovach Anton

He was born in 1962 in Transcarpathia.

1977–1981 - studied at the Uzhhorod School of Decorative and Applied Arts.

1981–1986 - at the Lviv National Academy of Arts.

He started his exhibition activity when he was a student.

Author and restorer of sacred monumental murals in Lviv (Catholic Cathedral), in the villages of Borzhavske (Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin) and Bilka (Greek Catholic Church), Transcarpathia.

Poland - Slupsk (1994); Hungary - Eger (1997), Nyíregyháza (2008), Budapest (2017, 2018); Czech Republic - Prague (1998); Slovakia - Michalovce (2000), Bardiiv (2004); Ukraine - Chernivtsi (2013), Uzhhorod (1994, 2012, 2017), Lviv (2009, 2010, 2017, 2019), as well as in the National Museum "Kyiv Art Gallery" (Kyiv, 2011) and the National Museum named after Andrei Sheptytsky , 2011).

Lives and works in Uzhhorod.

Since 1990 he has been teaching professional disciplines at the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts. Currently - Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Drawing.

Honored Artist of Ukraine.

Author and compiler of the album "Adalbert Erdely" (Uzhgorod, 2007).

Laureate of artistic awards named after J. Bokshaya, A. Erdely, T. Yablonska.

Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
