Petrov Vadim


He was born in 1960 in Shostka, Sumy region.

1975–1979 - studied at the Kharkiv Art School.

1979– 1984 - studied at the Kharkiv Art and Industrial Institute (Faculty of Monumental and Decorative Arts).

He started his exhibition activity in 1985.

Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1989.

Author of illustrations to the works of W. Hugo "Cathedral of Our Lady of Paris", A. Dante's "Divine Comedy", D. Defoe "The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe" and others.

The works are stored in the collection of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, Kharkiv Art Museum, Zimmerli Art Museum in New Jersey, in the collection of Norton Dodge (USA), in the collection of the Eduard Nakhamkin Gallery (USA), and in many private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
