She was born in 1966 in Kyiv.
She graduated from the Kyiv Art School and the Kyiv Academy of Arts (monumental faculty, diploma).
Since 1987, together with O. Tistol, K. Reunov, O. Kharchenko, M. Skugareva, she has participated in exhibitions and projects (Kyiv, Moscow, Helsinki, Avignon, Warsaw) as a member of the group "Volitional facet of national post-eclecticism".
From 1991 to the present day, Yana Bystrova has lived in Paris and collaborated with galleries in Paris and London.
Works in the field of painting, graphics, photography, design (consultant in the field of concept, planning, design and programming of multilingual interactive projects for the Internet), has completed internships in Parisian schools Gobelins, Regart, IFIP, CETA.
