These works form a pictorial reflection on the landscape as a place of memory and inner state, where natural space ceases to be geography and becomes psychology. The artist turns to the motif of the horizon as a boundary between the material and the immaterial, between the experienced and the as-yet-unfathomed.

A break in the horizon, a glimmer, or an inner source—which is both a natural phenomenon and a metaphor for consciousness. This light does not so much illuminate the space as reveal its depth, transforming the landscape into memories. The vivid hues of the earth do not reproduce reality but capture a state—the moment when the familiar landscape is experienced as something fragile and fleeting. Here, the earth loses its stability and becomes a reflection of an emotional impulse.

The horizon transforms into a line of inflection, a point of contact between two masses—the sky and the surface of the earth or water. This line is perceived as a transitional space where energy converges. The reflection intensifies the effect of duality, creating a sense of a mirrored space in which the distinction between top and bottom becomes ambiguous.

The paintings are united by a state of silence and inner tension. The absence of specific details frees up space for experience, allowing the viewer to enter it as an observer or as a participant. This is not a depiction of a specific place, but a capture of the encounter between the external landscape and the internal state.
