Viktor Kolosov is involved in numerous interesting art projects.
MemoRio is one of them.
Work on the project began in 2014 and continues to this day, bringing together early and recent works dedicated to Brazil as a unique and inimitable artistic and emotional image.
The project is rooted in deep personal experiences that exist in the realm of memory: in an environment that is vibrant, romantic, filled with soft music, warm light, and a sense of harmony in peaceful life. Here, Brazil emerges as an ideal inner landscape, assembled from personal impressions, memories, and imagination.
MeoRio is a series of works about a world without its global problems, about a world that we now perceive as a lost experience, yet one that continues to live on and stir our emotions.
Virtually all the works in the project address a time when peace was a natural reality.
Today, the works of the Memorio project take on additional significance. They serve as a reminder both of the importance of preserving the memory of peaceful life and of our inner readiness for its return. Memorio is a kind of breath of fresh air to which people long to return.
And together with the artist, we hope that this will happen as soon as possible.
